Nobody browses on Mehram. The system introduces you to a small number of people who genuinely fit, and your family is involved from the first step. Here is every stage, in order.
Phone number and a code — no password to remember. We ask where you live, your sect, your age and your marital status, and then we show you something before asking for anything else.
Most apps make you fill in forty fields on faith. We show you the real count of verified people who match your criteria, where they are, and how many already have a wali registered.
If your city is new to Mehram, we tell you that instead of showing you profiles that are not really there — and we let you wait for free.
Your wali gets their own account. Proposals reach them before they reach you, they can read your conversations, and they join your calls. Adding them is recommended rather than required.
They can decline a proposal on your behalf, but they can never accept one for you. They see your photographs, and nobody else’s.
Nine of your 142 matches only accept proposals where a wali is registered.
Your phone and your CNIC or passport are required for everyone, and the ID is what earns you the verified badge that families look for. A face scan is optional.
There is no feed and no search. Each introduction shows age, city, sect, education, profession and family type — no name and no photograph.
Photographs are hidden by default. You ask, she decides — and if she agrees, you both see each other at the same moment. She is never the only one exposed.
If someone chooses the most open photo setting, their photograph appears on the card straight away and this step is skipped.
A proposal is not a like. It carries a short note addressed to her wali, and it travels through two families before a single message can be sent.
Once she accepts, a conversation opens with both walis in it. They can read everything from the first message, and either family can start a voice or video call that both walis join.
Would your parents be free to speak this weekend?
Your wali is not a spectator. They have their own screen, their own decisions to make, and clear limits on what they can do.
Either family can start a call inside Mehram. Both walis join from their own devices, and no phone number is exchanged at any point.
Creating your biodata, verifying and adding your wali are all free. You pay only once we have introductions ready for you.
