What you agree to when you use Mehram.
Draft for your lawyer. This page has the right structure and covers what the app stores check for, but it must be reviewed and completed by qualified counsel before you publish it. Pakistan’s data protection framework and the jurisdictions you sell into will each need specific wording.
You must be 18 or over and legally free to marry. One account per person. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are removed immediately.
Mehram is an introduction service. We verify members and introduce families to one another. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that any particular person will respond, or that a marriage will result.
Every member verifies a phone number and an identity document (CNIC or passport), which earns the verified badge. A face scan is optional and only helps our reviewers confirm the document is yours. Supplying false information, another person’s documents, or another person’s photographs is grounds for removal without refund.
If you register a wali, they can review proposals before you see them, decline them on your behalf, read your conversations, and see the photographs on your own profile. They cannot accept a proposal for you, edit your biodata, message anyone as you, or see photographs another member has shared with you. You may change or remove them at any time.
Mehram is for serious marriage introductions. The following are grounds for removal:
You keep ownership of your biodata and photographs. You give us permission to show them to the members and walis described in our privacy policy, for as long as your account is active.
Membership is a single payment with no renewal. Payments made through the App Store or Google Play are also subject to their terms. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why. If you believe we have made a mistake, write to support@mehram.ai and a person will review it.
You may delete your account at any time from the menu inside the app. Deletion is permanent.
We verify identity to the best of our ability, but we cannot guarantee any member’s intentions or conduct. Meeting anyone in person is your decision and your responsibility. Take the same care you would with any introduction.
